【国际学院】Passion in Rain
红网六月十七日讯(通讯员 樊润竹 贺嘉允 摄影记者 贺嘉允)On May 16th, the football competition was ended in the Xuri stadium, organized by the sports department from international student union. The semi-finals were held in the morning, then the final was followed in the afternoon.
Four teams successfully entered the semi-finals. They had already divided into two groups: Sports School to College of Life Science and Technology, and International School to Economics School & Management School.
The game should have begun at 9:00, but the weather was too bad for the player to compete. Finally, all the people agreed to ignore the rain. The SS and the CLST was the first to start the competition. CLST showed their strength immediately, they gave several shoots continuously, including one in target. As the time passed, we found that the SS preferred direct approaches while the CLST preferred consecutive passes. However, the first goal was contributed by the No.7 from SS just before the interval.
When the first group was playing, the second group didn’t just wait for the opening. They devoted themselves into the warm-up, especially the IS. And when the SS and CLST had the interval, the game between them began. At first both two teams seemed lack of enthusiasm, and the speed was slow. But later the passion increased and the exciting confront attracted more and more people. Up to the interval, EM was 2:0 ahead of IS.
However, the IS never gave up. They corrected the leak of their defense and kept the offense as they did in the first half. Especially the No.10 and No.28 player, they eventually set the pace for the game. So just after 4 minutes, No. 28 gave a goal without any doubts Then in the 11th minute, No.11 also contributed a goal for the IS after two times of successful save. The more heavily it rained, the more momentum IS players had. Finally, No.7 scored the third goal in the 17th minute and won the victory for the IS.
On the other side, SS with 2:1 won the CLST, gave totally two goals and one own goal.
